Boy Scout --- 1st Camping Trip

Loaded in his new official back pack and ready to go on his first boy scout camping trip! Kaiden was voted camp chef. He was very excited and practiced cooking his camp out meals for weeks! (Do we want to eat pancakes for a while ....?! No that's ok!)

****EMERGENCY**** 1st Ambulance Ride

Kaiden fell head first off a slide and landed on his head. The way we found him, crumpled in a pile, made my heart plummet! We called 911, the ambulance came, and after stabilizing him and strapping him to a back board, they whisked him away to the E.R. I have never seen such fast service. Everyone was amazing! Within seconds we were attended to. A few minutes later he was in xray, checking for a broken arm, shoulder, and clavicle. Then we went to cat scan to check for head, neck, and spinal injuries.

***GOOD NEWS*** He is OK! Just sore, with bumps and bruises. Thank God!!

"Seaney Turtle"

Seaney has for a long time loved kitties and turtles. She has acquired quite a bit of kitty stuff, especially Hello Kitty. We found recently on clearance at Gymboree a whole line of pink and green turtle clothes. She wa soooo very excited -- glasses, shirt, shorts, socks, and shoes, all pink with little green turtles. Her favorite turtle activity is to put a laundry basket on her back and crawl thru the house -- CUTE!!!
