Girls Night Out

There is a group of us, the core being about 4, and sometimes we surge to 10 on a good day, we go out and call it "Girls Night Out". Usually it consists of Dinner, Starbucks, Movie & Desert. The group started with the 4 of us, Kim, Patsy, Kathleen, and Myself about 11 years ago. Alot has happened in 11 years, but I am sure glad that we still find time to have rip-roarin' fun once in a while. Laughter is gooooood!

Sitting Around The Campfire

Boy, do I love summer nights! Tonight we sat around the campfire with the Reynolds family. It was a great day of burgers, dogs, games, and finally relaxing around the campfire. This is probably my favorite summer thing to do!

Parade Fun!!

It's that time of year, the crowds, the sights, the candy, kids, and the blaring of fire truck horns... yes you guessed it, Parade Season! Today we were in our 2nd of 5 parades this summer, helping out with Kevin O'Sullivan's campaign for County Commissioner. Mom and Kaiden got to ride in a cool old car, and Ben is in the fire truck. The classic cars and truck were donated for parade use by Lemay. What a treat! I pushed the girls in the stroller, all decked out with shamrock green. With Kate cheering with her pom poms, it was a cute site to behold!

Summer Time - Summer Time - Sum Sum Summer Time

Summer time, summer time, sum sum summer time..... Got the kiddie pool out today! It was a big hit! They played for 4 hours in it today! Ahhhh the joys of easy fun!

A-Day-At-The-Park-With-Friends

Today, joined with lots of friends, we went to the park at Percival Landing. After lots of fun there we went for a walk around downtown,the water fountain, and by the boats.

Las Vegas & Mimi

You know that T.V. commercial, whatever happens in Vegas, says in Vegas... well that was the premise of this T-Shirt given to my mom today from her cousin, for her birthday! (Mimi is what the grandkids call her)

King Fu Fighting

Everybody was kung-fu fighting. Those cats were fast as lightning. In fact it was a little bit frightning. But they fought with expert timing. They were funky China men from funky Chinatown. They were chopping them up and they were chopping them down. It's an ancient Chineese art and everybody knew their part. From a feint into a slip, and kicking from the hip.

Kaiden & Aiden were wrestling on the trampoline. The only thing that kept running thru my head was that funny Kung Fu Fighting Song.... haha

My friend and the water

My friend Jennifer.... I just found this picture of her from August 2003... I was perusing pictures to scrapbook with when I ran across this one.....There she is, just barely with her toes in the water. We were all dying in the heat and swimming, and dear Jen, it's not hot enough for her to don on a swimsuit and swim with us. In the years I've known her rarely does she get wet, oh well to each their own. I sure hope it is hot enough for her to enjoy her trip in Hawaii when she goes on her vacation in a few weeks. It's all in the eyes

I was browsing through some old pictures, and here is the sweetest picture of Benn. Here he is on his first birthday...ready and waiting to blow out his candle. I just love his eyes, and the curly hair.

Thursday, Kaiden got his braces, just 4 across the top front, and he got red-white-&-blue bands, this to go along with the head gear he has too. Life with orthodontia has begun!

The Moment Is Here!!!!

The moment is here, the moment we all have been laughing, teasing, and joking about, the moment when Seanesey outgrows Kate. I took the kids to the doctor on Friday, May 26,2006.

Kate was put up on the scale and she weighted 23.8 pounds.
Seanesey climbed onto the scale, and she weighed 23.8 pounds!

Who would have thought, that I would have shown up on the DAY they girls weighed exactly the same, even to the ounce!!!!

Now, at least Kate is still 3/4 of an inch taller!

Garden Part 2

Today, I had a truly organic garden fresh salad! I picked spinach from my own garden, sewn by my own hand, a labor of love, eaten 5 minutes after plucked from the earth. Can't get any fresher then that!
